The Rocky Gorge is considered to be one of the must-see attractions for travelers along New Hampshire’s Kancamagus Highway. A well admired waterfall, this 15-foot cascading wonder is a popular spot among swimmers, photographs, and other types of visitors. Even though there are sometimes crowds around the Rocky Gorge, the waterfall is highly photogenic, set on a sunny and open river, and is a place in Bartlett that’s worth the visit. A short distance from the waterfall is a bridge that gives a good perspective for photographs. Swimming at the gorge itself isn’t allowed, however, it is permitted downstream from the waterfall.
