March Holidays and Events in the United States
Big and small, chocolate festivals are among the most popular social events in the country.
It’s also a month that sees plenty of major national and state holidays.
If you're like me, you might wing it and plan trips at the last minute—and most of the time, that works out just fine. But I’ve learned that for major holidays like New Year's, Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Christmas, you should really plan ahead. You’ll want to book flights and hotels early so you don’t get stuck with high prices or no availability.
If you ever find yourself putting it off, you’re not alone—I do it too when I can’t decide where to go or what kind of trip I want. You might feel overwhelmed by all the choices, and that’s totally normal.
When I need inspiration, I check out the ideas by month section. You’ll find great suggestions for every time of year—including special occasions like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s and Father’s Day, fall foliage getaways, and 4th of July events. I think it’s a great way to spark ideas whether you’re planning for a couple’s retreat or a family escape.
