Caproni's on the River

Caproni's on the River brings some of the best in American fare, Kentucky classics, and traditional Italian cuisine to the local community of Maysville. The restaurant takes an approach to its food that supports the local community of producers and growers, utilizes the freshest ingredients possible, and provides a memorable dining experience for guests. The founder of Caproni’s, Lea Caproni, brought a number of “secret recipes” from Barga, Italy to the banks of the scenic Ohio River. Her recipes are still used at Caproni’s on the River today, as well as preparing pasta “fresh to order,” to ensure quality, delicious dishes.
