The Gibbes Museum of Art offers visitors of all ages an enriching and enlightening experience. It is so important to encourage children to enjoy viewing and participating in artistic endeavors at an early age; with this aim in mind the museum hosts a variety of programs and events especially for children. Younger children (2 – 5) are invited to attend Story Time at the Gibbes, while older children will probably enjoy a cell-phone photography workshop, art and sculpture lessons or one of their Summer/Winter Camp art workshops. Children are invited to pick up a museum activity pack which will introduce them to the museum’s collections.
