The Charleston Water Taxi is not merely a means of finding your way from one tourist attraction to the next, it also doubles as a fun outing for the children. You can buy an inexpensive Day Pass (children under three travel free) and enjoy traveling by water to several popular Charleston children’s attractions including the Aquarium Wharf, Patriot’s Point and the Waterfront Park. The Charleston Water Taxi also offers exciting dolphin watching and general sightseeing tours of the beautiful Charleston Harbor. The tours take around an hour – perfect for restless younger passengers and you are welcome to bring a stroller on board. There are four stops where you can hop aboard.
