Peacefully nestled in the hills above Walpole, 5 miles from the Connecticut River, Distant Hills Garden and Nature Trails started off as a hobby for owners Kathy and Michael Nerrie. The land was acquired in 1979 and the couple has worked relentlessly since then to transform the property into the spectacular gardens you can visit today.
The enormous property encompasses woodlands, fields, wetlands, food gardens, ornamental gardens and much more. Visitors can explore the Distant Hills Nature Trails any day of the week, all year round. If you would like to learn more about the property you can book a private Guided Tour.
