The pool at the Auborn Cottages is said to be the oldest pool in the city, featuring original brick floors and iron chaise lounges. Seven newly renovated guest cottages are situated around a romantic saltwater pool deck which is decorated with flowers and trees that provide shade.
The Audubon Cottages let guests stay in historic one or two bedroom suites right in the French Quarter for easy access to all of New Orleans attractions. The cottages include a total of seven suites, each of which has a stereo alarm clock with radio and iPod/iPhone docking station, 42-inch flat screen televisions, drawer fridge and freezer with an ice maker, an in-room safe, wireless Internet, slippers and bathrobes, hairdryers and either semi-private or private courtyards.
There are also complimentary tea, coffee, soft drinks and bottled water, which are refilled each day.
The cottages share the oldest pool within the city, a saltwater pool that is set in its original brick and surrounded by wrought iron chaise lounges and lush foliage. Guests have access to the Garden House which is air conditioned and overlooks the pool. It also has a 42-inch flat-screen television, cocktail seating and a small kitchen area. There is daily housekeeping service in addition to evening turn down service. All guests get to enjoy a daily continental breakfast. Cottages start at $300 per night.
