Encompassing more than sixty acres, Apollo Beach Nature Preserve provides a nature preserve habitat for a wide array of aquatic species. Approximately seven acres of land have been separated from the preserve's habitat restoration areas.

This part of the Apollo Beach Nature Preserve is used for nature-based recreation, such as shoreline fishing, a nature trail, a 37-foot observation tower that's wheelchair accessible, and a spacious sandy beach for sunbathing and picnicking.

Must know: Visitors should note that no swimming is permitted at the beach.

Pro tip: Beautiful views of the sunset and Tampa Bay can also be found at the nature preserve.
