Also in Paracas, not far from Playa Roja, Playa de la Mina is one of Peru's little hidden gems. This beach can get quite busy in the summer months, but isn't quite as popular or crowded as some of the others. It's a super spot for lazing around in the sand, reading a book or taking a nap as the warm sun beats down on your skin. Beach-goers at Playa de la Mina will be able to admire the towering rocks and cliffs stretching out at the far end of the beach and maybe even catch a glimpse of some sea lions lounging around nearby. If you want to do some camping on a Peruvian beach, this one allows it, and it's definitely worth staying until after dark to admire the stars up above this sandy paradise.
