Pai Plong Beach is part of Ao Nang and can be reached from the neighboring Ao Nang Beach on foot. This beach is famous for being the starting point of the ‘Monkey Trail,’ and there are small monkeys to be seen everywhere. The path to the beach is quite difficult and appropriate footwear is recommended, but it’s well worth it on arrival to the beautiful 500-meter wide bay surrounded by steep, high cliffs with golden sands and spectacular views of the offshore islands on the horizon.
