Park of the Americas is a picturesque park in Orlando's downtown district, traversed by a 12-foot-wide fitness path that meanders for half a mile throughout the park's lands. Five workout stations throughout the park offer community-use fitness equipment for parkgoers of all ability levels, letting exercisers perform up to 120 exercises. A fenced-in dog park and run provides separate spaces for large and small breeds to frolic off-leash with supervision from their owners. Dogs are also permitted off-leash throughout the rest of the park. Young visitors can enjoy a tot lot with climbing and motion-oriented activities, while older children can play on a classic playground with swings and slides. Shaded picnic pavilions can be rented for small group use, featuring electric hookups and barbecue grills.
