Lake Highland Park is a spacious green park near Orlando's downtown district, located around the banks of majestic Lake Highland adjacent to Lake Highland Prep School. The expansive park offers a less-crowded alternative to some of Orlando's more populated downtown parks and features stunning views of the city's downtown district. Parkgoers can bring picnic lunches and stretch out on the park's grassy lawns, which also make for great spots for pickup sporting and frisbee games. Despite the park's proximity to the city's downtown district, it remains comparatively quiet and secluded from nearby traffic. Each evening, the park makes a great spot to view the city's downtown and nearby Walt Disney World Resort fireworks celebrations.
