Lake Cherokee Park is a narrow, elongated park in Orlando's Delaney Park district, located along the banks of its beautiful namesake lake. The downtown-area park is surrounded by majestic million-dollar homes in one of the city's richest neighborhoods, many of which have historic significance to the city's pioneer era. It serves as one of Orlando's top dog-walking spots, populated with pets and their owners throughout the morning and evening hours. Large grassy lawns provide space for yoga courses, drone and kite flying, and pickup sporting games. Sidewalks surround the park along city blocks, with benches and drinking fountains scattered throughout for rest breaks and relaxation.
