Review:
Lake Druid Park is a gorgeous 19-acre park at the trailhead of the Cady Way Trail, originally transferred to the City of Orlando in 2009 as part of the national Lands to Parks program. The park, which sits on land formerly owned by the U.S. Navy, is located on the banks of Lake Druid and is a great spot for mountain biking, offering pump, junior pump, and single-track trails amidst the beautiful natural scenery. Multi-use jogging trails are also offered, meandering through the park's wooded terrain. A sand volleyball court and an open grassy lawn provide opportunities for athletic recreation, while a fenced-in dog park lets four-legged friends play off-leash. Other features include a community garden, a lake access area, and benches for rest and relaxation.
