Review:

Located in the charming neighborhood of Ano Poli, the Vlatadon Monastery is the only monastery in the city that has never stopped operating since it was built during Byzantine times.

The structure was originally built in 1351, and it still retains some of its original architectural features, including semi-columns, curved archways, and beautiful frescoes. It also houses an important collection of historic artifacts, including ancient manuscripts, imperial golden seals, and religious icons. The site also boasts one of the best panoramic views in the entire city, and on a clear day, visitors will even be able to see the distant Olympic Mountain.
