Review:

Founded to represent and honor the city's rich Jewish heritage, the Jewish Museum of Thessaloniki presents an excellent array of exhibits that tell the story of the city's Jewish residents between the 16th century and the end of World War II.

The bottom floor of the museum is home to a collection of tombstones collected from a Jewish graveyard outside the city walls, accompanied by a series of photos that show the cemetery as it was in 1914, while the second floor offers exhibits full of historical artifacts and memorabilia. There is also a section dedicated to the Holocaust as it was experienced in Thessaloniki.
