Review:

The Mews Restaurant and Cafe is a charming Provincetown eatery that was originally opened as the Everbreeze in 1935, changing hands in 1964 and moving to its current spot on Commercial Street in 1993. The restaurant, which is named for a British term for courtyard stables, is known as a top Cape Cod celebrity dining spot, attracting luminaries throughout the 20th and 21st centuries such as Elizabeth Taylor, Judy Garland, and Al and Tipper Gore. Diners can enjoy spectacular waterfront views from the restaurant's intimate dining room or choose from delicious casual fare upstairs at its second-story bistro. Excellent New American entrees include pan-seared sea scallops, almond-crusted cod, roasted half chickens, and the restaurant's signature Mews Vindaloo, which pairs Indian curried vegetables with lobster, chicken, or tofu.
