Review:

Del Mar Bar and Bistro is a trendy Chatham dining spot helmed by restaurateur John Zartarian and executive chef Maria Pollio, considered to be one of Cape Cod's finest dining destinations since its opening in 2010. The casual bistro showcases upmarket cuisine prepared with native seafood, including Portuguese-steamed locally-caught littleneck clams, pan-roasted Faroe Islands salmon with gingered plum salsa, and wood-roasted daily catches prepared with lemongrass creamed corn and native pea greens. Rustic land entrees such as Statler chicken and Chinese-lacquered free range duckling are also offered, along with the restaurant's famed wood-fired pizzas, available in variants such as fig and prosciutto or Mediterranean-style with roasted tomatoes and kalamata olives. An extensive wine list is offered, along with craft cocktails and regional draft beers.
