Review:
The Glass Onion is an warm, inviting New American dining spot in Falmouth, owned and operated by Tally and Josh Christian since 2009. The restaurant, which is named in honor of a song reference from the Beatles' White Album, showcases 1920s-era decor and date-night ambiance, open to the public between April and December each year. Refined New American fare offerings include pan-seared Long Island duck breast, butter-poached lobster with wild white shrimp, and steak au poivre prepared with herb-roasted potatoes and brandy cream. Couples can split gourmet appetizers such as lobster strudel or Barnstable oysters or share decadent desserts such as vanilla bean creme brulee, Callebaut chocolate mousse, or housemade ice cream and sorbet options. A global wine list is available to complement all meals, with glass and bottle options. Diners should note that reservations are not accepted for groups smaller than six and should arrive early to secure nightly table service.
