Review & FAQ:

Salt Fork State Park is Ohio's biggest state park spanning over 17,200-acres in rural Guernsey County. It consists of a mixture of misty valleys laced with several streams, open meadows, and forested hills. The fishing opportunities are vast here with large populations of bluegills, crappies, largemouth bass, walleye, and muskies. The best areas to fish are the various embayment areas and the artificial reef on the lake's north branch. Boats with any horsepower are welcome on the nearly 3,000-acre lake, allowing for wakeboarding and waterskiing. There is also an archery range, 18-hole golf course, 2,500-foot swimming beach, miniature golf course, 72 miles of horseback riding trails, and 14 scenic hiking trails.
