The Kiser Lake area was once the home of the mighty Shawnee warrior Techumseh, and it is the place where the Shawnee held famous frontiersman Simon Kenton captive. The 396-acre lake is also known for crystal clear waters and serene surroundings. The tranquil ambiance of the lake is due in part to its no motorized boats policy, making it a dream destination for sailors. Kiser Lake has four boat launch areas and a single boat ramp. Swimming and scuba diving are also popular here during summer. The lake sits amidst 531 acres of rolling woodlands and low wetlands. The park offers five hiking trails, a campground, volleyball court, playground, nature center, and horseshoe pits.
