Satis Bistro was opened in 2012 by Geza Gulas and Michael Garcia of Lucky 7 Tavern, offering two Jersey City locations today in Paulus Hook and Bloomfield. The chic European eatery is known for its seasonal outdoor bluestone terrace, which offers excellent views of the Manhattan skyline, and vintage interior decor. Rustic entrees on display at lunch and dinner include housemade ricotta gnocchi, Chatham cod bouillabaisse, breaded zucchini parmigiana, and black Angus hanger steaks served with pommes frites. Diners can also share gourmet appetizers with European flair, ranging from patatas bravas to bacon-wrapped cabrales-stuffed dates. A terrific wine list is served up from the restaurant's elegant wine bar, featuring more than 45 selections by the bottle or by the glass.
