Cave Bistro is a lovely gluten-free and Paleo restaurant in Avon-By-The-Sea, owned and operated by executive chef Douglas Stehle. All entrees are crafted farm-to-table using organic free-range meats, wild-caught seafood, and locally-sourced produce. Creative large plates served up at dinner include bone-in ribeyes with chimichurri butter, pan-roasted king salmon with citrus ginger beet puree, and beef and pork Bolognese prepared with zucchini noodles and pumpkin seed basil pesto. Delicious burger options are also offered, including a roasted marrow burger with bacon onion jam and a bison and duck fat burger with sweet potato hash browns, avocado, and fried egg.
