Jockey Hollow Bar and Kitchen is a unique dining destination within Morristown's historic 1917 Vail Mansion, opened in 2014 by restaurateur Chris Cannon. The restaurant actually houses four dining concepts in one, including the fine seafood dining destination daPesca, which serves up four-course prix fixe experiences crafted by executive chef Craig Polignano. The complex's Oyster Bar is housed within a gorgeously renovated room that used to house the mansion's art gallery, showcasing original marble columns and a wide menu of raw bar, charcuterie, and tapas selections. Excellent brasserie fare and craft cocktails are served up at the Vail Bar, housed within the mansion's former library space. In the mansion's basement, the Rathskeller beer hall features a sizeable brew list and live music performances on Friday evenings.
