The Sultan Abdul Samad Building is a gorgeous, late-nineteenth-century building that is situated along Jalan Raja in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The iconic Sultan is located near the Royal Selangor Club and Dataran Merdeka. The building was completed in the year of 1897 by architect A.C. Norman. During the British administration in Malaya, the building was used to accommodate several government departments. The building now houses the nation’s Supreme and High Courts. The building’s impressive clock tower and unique Moorish designs are regularly photographed by visitors and locals. On important occasions and special events, the building is beautifully decorated with colorful flags and lights.
