Review:

Dataran Merdeka, or Merdeka Square is a public square that is located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is situated just outside of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. To the north of the square lies Mary’s Church – one of the city’s oldest Anglican churches, also nearby is the Royal Selangor Club. The square is nestled within the colonial center of Kuala Lumpur, where locals and visitors still find remnants of the British Empire. The square consists mostly of large field with green, well-manicured lawns, to go along with the world’s tallest flag pole for a centerpiece, proudly displaying the Malaysian flag. The square is a historical place that is worth checking out for those in Kuala Lumpur.
