The Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia is an art museum that is located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The museum was opened in December of 1998, and is located at the center of the tourist belt in Kuala Lumpur. Situated among the beautiful Perdana Botanical Gardens, it’s a short walk from Bird Park, the National Mosque, and National Planetarium. The museum houses over 10 thousand artifacts, including an exceptional library filled with Islamic art books. Some of the art objects displayed range from tiny pieces of jewelry to a large-scale replica of the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca. The museum features a vast collection that truly represents the Islamic world.
