Aquaria KLCC is a large oceanarium that is located beneath the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, within the Kuala Lumpur City Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Aquaria is a world-class oceanarium that features a wide array of exhibits that relate to marine life found in Malaysia, as well as other parts of the world. Visitors can get in-depth information about all of the marine species within the oceanarium on a guided tour. They’ll also have the opportunity to see interactive feeding shows, where visitors can learn information about the animals as they feed. The 90-meter-long, transparent tunnel is the country’s first underground aquarium, allowing visitors to view sea life from a totally unique, jaw-dropping vantage point.

2. Batu Caves

The Batu Caves are a popular and iconic tourist attraction that is located in Selangor, Malaysia. Batu Caves is home to a Hindu shrine and temple, attracting thousands of tourists and worshippers each year, especially during the city’s annual Hindu festival, Thaipusam. 3. Bukit Tabur

Less than 500 meters in height, Bukit Tabur is a popular hill that is located in Selangor, Malaysia. Locally, the hill is recognized as Bukit Hangus. It is a very prominent part of the Klang Gates Quartz Ridge, which visitors can see from the Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2. Visitors will have the opportunity to hike the quartz ridge either from its western or eastern ridges. There are morning tours that are offered by trained, local guides that are highly recommended when exploring the ridge for the first time. 5. Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia

The Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia is an art museum that is located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The museum was opened in December of 1998, and is located at the center of the tourist belt in Kuala Lumpur. Situated among the beautiful Perdana Botanical Gardens, it’s a short walk from Bird Park, the National Mosque, and National Planetarium. The museum houses over 10 thousand artifacts, including an exceptional library filled with Islamic art books. Some of the art objects displayed range from tiny pieces of jewelry to a large-scale replica of the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca. The museum features a vast collection that truly represents the Islamic world.

6. Istana Negara

Istana Negara is the official home of Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the monarch of Malaysia. The residence is situtated along Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim in northwest Kuala Lumpur. This palace was opened in the year of 2011, after it replaced the old Istana Negara in central part of the city. Istana Negara gives visitors an excellent glimpse into what life would have been like living in a royal Asian palace. Inside the palace, locals and visitors will have the chance to explore the 22 interior spaces that comprise the Balairung Seri, such as the sleeping chamber, dining hall, royal office, and resting lounge. 7. Jamek Mosque

Jamek Mosque, officially recognized as Sultan Abdul Samad Jamek Mosque, is one of Kuala Lumpur’s oldest mosques. The mosque is situated just off of Jalan Tun Perak, where the Gombak and Klang Rivers meet. Built in 1909, this beautiful mosque was the design of architect Arthur Benison Hubback. The design of the mosque is considered to fall under Indo-Saracenic, Moorish, or Mugahl architecture. The mosque features three domes, the tallest of which reaches 70 feet in height; two main minarets, among many smaller ones; and a prayer hall beneath the domes. Visitors will appreciate the beautiful architecture, stunning colors, and many palm trees around the exterior.
