Review:
Perdana Botanical Gardens, formerly the Perdana Lake Gardens, Public Gardens, and Lake Gardens, is Kuala Lumpur’s first recreational park that was built to such a large scale, measuring a whopping 91.6 hectares. Established in 1888, locals and visitors will find the gardens nestled in the center of the city. The Sunken Garden is made up simply of siamensis, Acalypha, and Loropetalum Chinese Shrubs, as well as flowering annuals along the slopes – Grecian pots hold riots of colorful petunias, adding elegance and beauty to the garden. The Hibiscus Garden showcases several species of Malaysia’s beautiful national flower, the Bunga Raya. Additional garden attractions include fountains, pools, and a 12-foot-high waterfall.
