Review:

Jamek Mosque, officially recognized as Sultan Abdul Samad Jamek Mosque, is one of Kuala Lumpur’s oldest mosques. The mosque is situated just off of Jalan Tun Perak, where the Gombak and Klang Rivers meet. Built in 1909, this beautiful mosque was the design of architect Arthur Benison Hubback. The design of the mosque is considered to fall under Indo-Saracenic, Moorish, or Mugahl architecture. The mosque features three domes, the tallest of which reaches 70 feet in height; two main minarets, among many smaller ones; and a prayer hall beneath the domes. Visitors will appreciate the beautiful architecture, stunning colors, and many palm trees around the exterior.
