Gas Street Basin is a popular canal basin that is situated at the heart of Birmingham, England. This particular location is where the Birmingham and Worcester Canal meet the BCN Main Line. The Birmingham Canal was completed in the year of 1773 and is terminated at the Old Wharf, beyond Bridge Street. In the 1990s, many older buildings around the basin were refurbished, and much of the surrounding area was redeveloped.
