The Barnacle Historic State Park is a state park in Florida about five acres in size and located in the Coconut Grove area of Miami. The park is home to The Barnacle, a home constructed back in the year 1891 and is the oldest home in Miami-Dade County still in the original location. Activities available at the Barnacle Historic State Park during the day include wildlife viewing, picnicking, and of course, exploring the historic Barnacle site. Concerts, as well as other special events, are frequently held at the state park year-round. The Barnacle Historic State Park offers a look at frontier life.
