Taylors Falls Scenic Boat Tours is a family-owned and operated business that has been around since the year 1906, taking guests on a relaxing tour of the scenic natural beauty of the St. Croix River’s world famous Dalles. The tour guide and licensed boat pilot points out unique rock formations left behind thousands of years ago as glaciers retreated, one of the most outstanding of which is a massive stone cross, from which the river gets its name “St. Croix,” or “Holy Cross.” Daily boat tours are offered seven days a week, starting the first weekend of May through the middle of October.
