Review:
The municipality of Frisange , which includes Hellange and Aspelt, is 35,000 years old. That means that nearly 1500 generations have called this municipality home. Extensive new excavations revealed objects from Neanderthals, the Stone Age, Celts, and the Gallo-Roman period to the Middle Ages, which can be seen at the House of History – Aloyse Linster. Another historical jewel is Chateau d’Aspelt where Archbishop Peter von Aspelt, a key political figure of the Middle Ages, was born. Three Cantons Cycling Path takes riders to the scenic Moselle region. Léa Linster is the place to be for dinner; Chef Léa is the only woman ever to win the Bocuse d’Or, the highest award for chefs.
