Review:
Bascharage is part of the Kaerjeng municipality, along with Clemency, Linger, Hautcharage, and Fingig. This is the place to be for craft beer. It’s home to Brasseirie Nationale, a family-owned and-operated brewery that is the oldest in Luxembourg. Visitors can tour the brewery and beer museum, then taste Bofferding or Battin beers. Tours of the Beierhaascht microbrewery offer a different experience. Here, besides tours and tastings, Beierhaascht has an in-house butchery, restaurant, and eco-hotel. The three fishponds of Clemency are nearby where visitors can catch trout and local fish. Three walking tours of Bascharage and Clemency offer an overview of the natural area. Serious cyclists can catch the Three Cantons Cycling Path here.
