Review:

Differdange is nestled in the valley of the Haute Chiers, a prominent industrial center known as “Steeltown” due to its grey type steel girders. The city provides visitors with various attractions, including historical highlights like the Cistercian Abbey founded in 1235, the Old Town Hall, the New Town Hall constructed in 1964, and Differdange Castle, which houses Miami University. Gerlache Park is the town’s center, a green oasis featuring the floral clock, the 1896 steel factory, and the Marcel Noppeney Cultural Center. A couple additional points of interest are the historical steam train – Train 1900 – and the Prenzebierg-Giele Botter nature reserve, an old open cast iron ore mining area.
