The Savannah History Museum is a history museum that is located in Tricentennial Park, in Savannah, Georgia. The museum features exhibits relating to the city’s long history, dating all the way back to the American Revolution and Civil War eras.
It is situated within the historic Central of Georgia Railway Train Shed, where visitors can explore exhibits that highlight Savannah’s artistic, cultural, and musical contributions. Visitors will see everything from the life of Juliette Gordon Low – Girl Scout Founder to the famous Forrest Gump bench. Children receive a discounted rate for entry, and it’s a wonderful way for them to learn about Savannah’s rich past.
