Fort Pulaski National Monument is a U.S. National Monument that is located off of U.S. Highway 80 in Savannah, Georgia.

The monument is situated on Cockspur Island, between Tybee Island and the city of Savannah.

It preserves Fort Pulaski, which during the American Civil War in 1962, was the site where the Union Army successfully tested cannons that rendered fortifications made of brick, obsolete. The monument provides an excellent setting for spending the day with the family; parents and children can enjoy sightseeing, kayaking, hiking, bicycling, and exploring nature and history together. Kids will also enjoy fishing along the scenic banks of the Savannah River.
