Oatland Island Wildlife Center is a compact, zoo-like preserve that is located in Savannah, Georgia.
The mission of the center is to provide adults, families, and children with the necessary information to maintain the highest standards of animal care at all times.
There are a couple of different sections to explore within the center, such as Predators of Georgia, Birds of Prey, and Wolf Wilderness. There’s a large variety of animal species for visitors to explore, including Gray Wolfs, Southern Flying Squirrels, Gopher Tortoises, Cougars, Bobcats, Red-tailed Hawks, Barn Owls, and Bald Eagles. Toddler Tuesdays cater to child animal education development; the center also provides field trip programs.
