Carnegie Library is a public library that is located within historic downtown Savannah, Georgia.

The red-and-black bricked Carnegie Library is a marvelous, architectural gem that has served its surrounding community for over a century. The museum has even made the list of Georgia’s 10 Most Beautiful Libraries by the Georgia Public Library Service.

Carnegie Library was the first public library to be established in the city of Savannah by a collection of African American business leaders. These same business leaders were responsible for founding the Colored Library Association of Savannah in 1906. The library offers coding classes for kids, story time, and open computer labs.
