Pocahontas State Park is located about twenty minutes from Richmond, Virginia and offers several campsites with hookups for water and electricity, as well as grills and picnic tables at all campsites. Amenities available to campers in the Pocahontas State Park campground include restroom facilities with hot showers, as well as laundry facilities and an outdoor swimming pool. Guests can also rent canoes, paddle boats, kayaks, paddle boards, and rowboats, during the warmer months of the year. In addition to camping, the park provides opportunities for boating, fishing, and swimming. Visitors can bring their own boat for a fee.
