Set next to a mountain stream, beneath the shade of rhododendron and hemlock, Hurricane Campground provides a tranquil setting for anyone wanting an outdoor adventure, as well as those who are just looking for a place to relax. Access to several trails can be found at the campsites, including the Hurricane Knob Trail and the famous and scenic Appalachian Trail, which extends over two thousand miles, across fourteen states. Every campsite includes a campfire ring, a picnic table, and a lantern pole.
