The North Bend Park & Campground is situated on the grounds of the John H. Kerr Reservoir, Boydton, Virginia. This fifty thousand-acre lake is surrounded by over eight hundred miles of cove-studded, wooded shoreline that campers can spend hours exploring. The campground consists of nearly 250 water/electric hookup sites and primitive campsites near or on the lakefront. There are also centrally located bathhouse facilities with toilets and hot showers. While pets aren’t allowed on the beaches, they are allowed in the campground and on the walking trails. Biking is also permitted on the trails around the North Bend Campground.
