The Big Meadows Campground is situated within the Shenandoah National Park in Stanley, Virginia, conveniently located near several of the park’s popular hiking trails and major facilities. There are three waterfalls within walking distance of the campground as well. In addition to the individual campsites at the Big Meadows Campground, group campsites area available as well and are able to be reserved in advance up to one year out, along with bathhouses with toilets and hot showers. The pet-friendly campground is also near The Meadow, which is an expansive open area in the park featuring abundant wildlife and beautiful scenery.
