Review & FAQ:
Located in the magnificent Frogner Park in Oslo, the Vigeland Sculpture Park , or Vigeland Installation, is the world's largest sculpture installation made by one artist.
Gustav Vigeland‘s 200 sculptures, made in granite, bronze and wrought iron, are spaced within five individual park units along an 850 meter long line, starting at the Main gate, continuing to the Bridge, the Children's playground, the Monolith plateau, the Fountain, and the Wheel of Life. Vigeland created most of the sculptures between 1939 and 1949 and was also responsible for the design and layout of the park.
