Review:
TusenFryd is Norway’s largest amusement park, located in Vinterbro, about 20 kilometers from Oslo. Spread over 55 acres of forested, hilly land, the park is vaguely divided into Morgan Kane Town, Vikingland, and a small Fairy Tale Land. It has 31 rides, four roller coasters, and three water rides. Some of the adrenaline-kickers include SpeedMonster, ThunderCoaster, SuperSplash, and SpaceShot, which are so huge that they can be seen from the motorway.
The SpeedMonster serves as the entrance to the park meaning that visitors have to go up in an escalator, and through a loop of the Speed Monster to get in. There are also carousels, small roller coasters and rides for smaller kids. BadeFryd is the waterpark portion of the park, open in the summer, with a swimming pool, a large slide and a swimming river.
