Owned by Rocco Cortina, the friendly spot serves traditional Italian comfort food like wood-fired pizzas with gourmet toppings, house-made pasta with from-scratch sauces, prime beef, veal, and chicken dishes, and fresh seafood, as well as organic fruits, salads and vegetables, and mouthwatering homemade desserts. Il Matto’s excellent food is paired with a selection of wine from the Northern regions of Italy, as well as imported liqueurs and spirits, and is open for lunch Monday through Friday and dinner only on the weekends.
