Located in the old OMAHA/CNW depot in downtown Spooner, the Railroad Memories Museum celebrates and preserves Spooner's railroad history and heritage through an extensive collection of railroad memorabilia. Run by volunteers and retired railroaders, the museum comprises 13 rooms filled with historical documents, railroad equipment, and railroad-related artifacts and items such as lights, railroad bells, timetables, whistles, photos, art and antiques, and advertisements. A television in the main room shows videos of a 'G' gauge model running on an elevated track with both a steam passenger and a diesel freight.
