The East Troy Electric Railroad is a living history museum that offers visitors the opportunity to experience what I was like riding an electric trolley a century ago. The family-friendly trolley museum operates scenic train rides on Chicago, South Shore, and South Bend interurban cars each weekend from April through October, along with dinner trains, family picnic trains, Christmas trains, and other special events. The museum is home to over 30 historic railroad cars, including 17 operating trains, and the only working Milwaukee Streetcar in existence.
