The Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary is a pristine 600-acre wildlife refuge in Green Bay and home to an extensive wildlife rehabilitation program. The largest park in the Wisconsin Park system and open to the public year-round, the sanctuary cares for injured and sick wild animals and rehabilitates them to return to the wild. Those that cannot be returned to the wild are cared for and given a permanent home at the sanctuary. The Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary features a variety of attractions, including exhibits of live animals, many of which are native to Wisconsin, including bobcats, foxes, wolves, and several species of birds. The park also offers miles of hiking and skiing trails, wildlife viewing opportunities, and environmental education programs.
